Bose Amp

The Bose amplifier is located on the transmission tunnel behind the HVAC controls. See the photo at right for a visual clue!

The amplifier is connected with a proprietary connector. This connector is not on the head unit. Rather, it is the connector to the Bose amp package located below and behind the head unit.
This connector is found on the following head units:
- 1999-2001 Bose (1M31/1M37)
- 2002-2003 Bose (4H60)
- 2004-2005 Bose (4H64)
There is no known connector that fits this.
To bypass the Bose amplifier, simply unplug this connector and jumper the corresponding input and output pins: C to L, D to K, F to N, and H to M. The remaining pins can be ignored. Note that the connector pictured is the harness, not the connector on the amplifier pack, so it is a mirror image of the "real" connector.
