The Burning Crusade has taken the Bunnies by storm!
Many of us waited in line last night at midnight to pick up our copies of The Burning Crusade expansion pack. Several of us were installed and online before 1AM!
Here's what to expect...
- Quick entry of CD key through the installer - you don't even need to visit the account management web site as they implied, the installer handles this for you.
- Four CDs - ~15-20 minutes install time depending on system speed.
- Must re-patch after the installation (the big 2.0.3 patch and the smaller 2.0.5 patch)
Expect lots of levelling, questing, and exploring to be going on in the coming weeks!

'Twas the Night Before Winter Veil
Twas the night before Winter Veil, when all through Azeroth,
Not a creature was stirring, not even Kilroth.
The weapons were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes Grandfather Winter soon would be there.
The orphans were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of deep-fried plantains danced in their heads.
And Ama in her ‘kerchief, and I in my dress,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s rest.
When out in the Crossroads there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my crypt to see what was the matter.
Away to the Wind Rider I flew like a flash,
Murmured a prayer and tightened my sash.
The moon on the breast of the desert aglow,
Gave the lustre of mid-day to the objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a filthy Alliance raid all riding reindeer.
The young Horde were running and sounding alarms,
I knew in a moment it must be Longarms.
I call for help and the Bunnies they came,
I whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Golia! now, Globy! now, Coriss and Maldrenn!
On, Raideth! On, Thock!, on Xan and Rothlikan!
Alliance near the Inn! And over by the wall!
Now smash away! Bash away! Kill them all!"
A hail of arrows then rained through the sky,
As Abuk, Jarrid, and Razzak let fly.
Then someone in teamspeak said the word bewb,
Kasim gently sighed, “Ugarte you noob.”
A mage stared at the sand at a very dirty picture,
Before getting nuked by the Naket Illustrator.
Nearby a rogue suddenly turned into a sheep.
Laughter arose from Martila, a former Gweep.
Fahsera flashed the Noob Symbol high in the air,
and in no time flat, Blueheart was there.
Es and Khaaley filled the role of medics,
As Snebler flaunted his shiny new epics.
An Alliance paladin fell to the soil,
From Rylock and Krixx spamming Death Coil.
Illucent and Alexkova wiped the blood from their blade,
Standing over the fresh corpse they just made.
Corax exclaimed, "I'm really quite bored,"
As he cleaved Longarms in two with his sword.
Prio taunted the Alliance, “I will have your head!”
Yassita responded, “That’s what she said.”
The Alliance raid had began to fizzle,
Up on a hill Irshil pooped, just a little.
Javal wiped tears from his eyes as he found,
His bunny hiding in a hole in the ground.
Our job here was done, as the Alliance ran scared.
I took a moment to remember the memories we've shared.
I yelled to the Bunnies as they rode out of sight,
"Happy Winter Veil to all, and to all a good-fight!"

Bunnies defeat five bosses in Zul'Gurub!
In a historic moment for the Bunnies, five bosses were defeated during our weekly ZG raid. High Priest Venoxis (snake boss) was defeated with only a minor mishap and one reset. High Priestess Jeklik (bat boss) was deftly brought down, followed up by the last boss we had previously mastered, High Priestess Mar'li (spider boss).
We then set out to attempt to defeat High Priest Thekal (tiger boss). We had attempted this boss in a previous raid but were unable to make it to the second stage. Much to our surprise, we defeated this boss on the first attempt! We still have much practice before we can consider this boss to be on farm status, but everyone was excited that the boss fell.
Flush with our success, and with time still on the raid clock, we set out to summon Gahz'ranka (the fish boss). His Massive Geyser ability had most of us practicing our best Wyvern impressions, but we persevered and eventually downed the boss, much to everyone's excitement!
